It always feels such a privilege to ride at such a wonderful venue. Andreas managed a respectable dressage test with no major spooks, just some green errors but it was his first attempt at this test so lots to build on. Many thanks to Maggie Doel who kindly worked us in for this phase and made such a difference to our performance. An unlucky last pole in the showjumping couldn’t dampen our spirits as this horse just oozes enthusiasm for his jumping and neither of us could wait to get out on the xc! He gave me a great clear xc round and really felt like he learnt a lot for the future. Thank you to everyone at Barbury for yet another great event and everyone who came along to help and support us over the weekend.
