Well , I’m out of surgery and feeling remarkably ok but it maybe to do with the fact my left leg is currently anaesthetised so I can’t feel it!
The surgery went well although longer than planned. The knee was shattered on the inside and a piece of bone had pulled off the front along with the ACL but hopefully a plate and some bolts have patched it back together.
The staff at Great Western Hospital, Swindon have all been fantastic and have looked after me very well.
