Here the duo scored a respectable 32.9, following his 29.2 in the 4* short at Burnham Market, a few weeks prior.

The talented Maggie Doel has been hugely instrumental in improving Alfie’s dressage marks, thanks to training sessions at home and through being on hand at several events, to help Helen and Alfie work in. Alfie is hugely talented on the flat but he hasn’t always proved to be the most rideable in a test; he's somewhat spooky and highly strung! Together Maggie and Helen have formulated a plan for warming Alfie up at events to enable him to focus and perform to his very best.
